Ed FitzGerald has been fighting against corruption and for good government all his life.

 

As a prosecutor, he took on violent crime, and as an FBI Special Agent in Chicago, he investigated organized crime and corrupt politicians.

 

He was elected by his community first as Mayor of Lakewood, then as the first County Executive of Cuyahoga County. He challenged- and defeated- multimillionaire opponents with his message of reform and honest government. And after he won, he kept his word- making local government more efficient, transparent, and responsive for working people.

 

Ed spent the next ten years in the private sector, as a small business owner and entrepreneur. He learned first hand how to deal with the ups and downs of this economy.

 

The easy thing to do then would be to relax, plan for retirement, and enjoy spending time with his four children and grandson (with another one on the way).

 

But- like so many of you- he’s angry and disgusted by what’s going on right now in Washington. And so he’s decided to use all of his experience, skills, and determination to take on Max Miller and the whole rotten system. 

 

And if enough people like Ed FitzGerald make it to Congress, it’s not too late to turn this country around.
